Cone beam CT (CBCT)

A Cone Beam CT Scan (CBCT) provides a 3-dimensional and cross-sectional views of the jaw and surrounding anatomy. CBCT Scans are used to measure the amount and quality of bone present, diagnose root fractures, the position of teeth that are not visible in the mouth such as wisdom teeth and identify cysts and infections. They also help in the planning for dental implants.

We work closely with a Maxillofacial Radiologist who provides a full report so the team can plan the best approach to any recommended treatment.
